Esther Alonso, MD
Dr Alonso took an indirect and interesting path to become a physician. She studied economics at Cornell University and then received a Masters in Public Policy Studies at Duke University. Her interests led her to Mathematica Policy Research, a national policy think tank in Washington DC. She worked for two years on education, health and social policy projects evaluating their effectiveness. During that period, she decided to become a physician.
She particularly likes to take care of entire families and also enjoys women’s health, adolescent medicine and geriatrics.
